Key facts
- At a casino cashier you choose Neosurf and enter the voucher's 10-character PIN. Whatever you do not spend stays on the voucher.
- A Neosurf voucher only pays in. Winnings have to leave by another method, and casinos such as Wild Tokyo choose one if your deposit method cannot pay out.
- Neosurf's own route for winnings is a myNeosurf account, which can then pay to your bank, with fees that may apply.
- A $10 voucher has to reach AUD 30 to leave Wild Tokyo by an 'other' method. In our simulation that happened only about 9% to 23% of the time.
- None of our partners lists Neosurf: four publish their payment methods without it, and the rest show methods only in the cashier.
How a Neosurf casino deposit works
- Buy a voucher in a store or from an approved online reseller. Australian values are AUD 10, 50 and 100.
- In the casino cashier, choose Neosurf and enter the amount.
- Type the 10-character PIN from the voucher. Neosurf says no other details are needed, though some merchants run extra checks on some amounts.
- The amount moves to your casino balance. Anything left stays on the PIN for later.
Paysafecard works on a similar prepaid PIN; our Paysafecard guide covers where to buy one and its payment cap and fees.
Neosurf describes its gambling use plainly: you transfer credit from your PIN to your player balance at the cashier. There is no activation step and no card to enter.
What we found at our partners
None of our partners lists Neosurf. LuckyOnes, VegasNow and Lucky Dreams publish their payment methods and list a different voucher, CashToCode (AUD 25 to 400), and Wanted Win lists no voucher at all (read 9 October 2026). The other partners show methods only behind a login, and we will not label any of them a Neosurf casino until it is confirmed. Check two things in the cashier before you buy a voucher: that Neosurf is offered for deposits, and what the withdrawal options are for an account funded that way.
The withdrawal problem
A Neosurf voucher cannot receive money. That clashes with a rule most casinos have. Wild Tokyo's terms say withdrawals can only go back by the method you deposited with, and that if a payment system is not available for withdrawal, the casino may choose a withdrawal method "in its sole discretion". Mino Casino's withdrawal policy has the same same-method rule. So after a voucher deposit, the casino decides how you are paid.
There are two usual ways out:
| Route | How it works | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| myNeosurf account | Neosurf says a myNeosurf account can receive winnings, then pay out to your bank account or a cash voucher | Whether the casino pays to myNeosurf; Neosurf says fees may apply on withdrawals |
| Bank transfer | The casino pays your Australian bank account | The minimum (AUD 15 at Wild Tokyo) and verification of your bank details |
Either way, expect identity checks before the first payout. Wild Tokyo's document list includes a screenshot of your bank account and of any e-wallet you deposited from, with your details showing.
$10 Neosurf casino: the maths
A $10 voucher is the cheapest way to try a casino with Neosurf. Here is what has to happen before that $10 can leave Wild Tokyo:
- Bets of $30. If you bet less than three times your deposit, the casino can keep up to 10% of a withdrawal or refuse it.
- A balance of AUD 15 for a bank transfer, or AUD 30 for other methods.
How often does $10 become $30? A fair coin game would get there one time in three. Pokies have a house edge, so less often. We simulated it on two made-up pokies with 96% RTP, playing until the balance hit $30 or ran out, 60,000 times each at three bet sizes (our model, not casino data):
| Model | 20c spins | 50c spins | $1 spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low volatility pokie | about 10% | about 20% | about 23% |
| High volatility pokie | about 23% | about 16% | about 9% |
So a $10 voucher reaches the AUD 30 mark somewhere between one time in four and one time in eleven, depending on the game and the bet. The rest of the time the voucher is spent with nothing to withdraw. For more on small deposits, see our minimum deposit casino Australia guide.
Pundit tip: a voucher is a natural spending limit. Buy the amount you are happy to lose, leave the card at home, and the session ends when the PIN is empty.
Neosurf online pokies and bonuses
The pokies are the same whatever you pay with. Bonus rules do not change either: our partners' terms allow one bonus per person, address, device and payment account, a maximum bet of AUD 8 while a bonus is active, and 5 days to finish wagering. On a $10 voucher deposit the same wagering multiple applies, just to a smaller amount.
Red flags with Neosurf at casinos
- A support agent asks for your PIN to "credit it manually". Neosurf says never to give a PIN to a person, by chat, phone or email.
- Discounted vouchers from strangers. Buy only from stores or Neosurf's approved online resellers.
- A deposit that did not arrive. Neosurf says the website's own support should check it with Neosurf. Check the balance yourself only on Neosurf's Check Voucher page.
For buying vouchers, balances and refunds, read our Neosurf voucher Australia guide. Online casinos cannot be licensed in Australia, and paying in cash does not change that. Read are online pokies legal in Australia before you deposit.
Frequently asked questions
Which online casinos accept Neosurf in Australia?
None of our partners lists it. Four publish their payment methods and Neosurf is not among them; the rest show methods only in the cashier after login. Neosurf says thousands of websites accept it, including online casinos. Online casinos cannot be licensed in Australia, so any that take it are offshore.
Can I withdraw winnings to Neosurf?
Not to a voucher. Vouchers only pay in. Neosurf suggests a myNeosurf account for receiving winnings from sites that support it, and myNeosurf can then pay out to your bank account.
Is there a $10 Neosurf casino?
A $10 voucher is the smallest Neosurf value sold in Australia, so a $10 deposit is possible wherever a cashier's minimum allows it. Getting money back out is harder: Wild Tokyo's minimum withdrawal is AUD 15 by bank transfer and AUD 30 by other methods.
Do Neosurf online pokies play differently?
No. The pokies are the same whatever you pay with. The payment method only changes how money gets into and out of your balance.
What if my Neosurf deposit does not show up?
Neosurf says to contact the website's customer service first, because it can check the payment with Neosurf. Check the voucher's balance on Neosurf's own Check Voucher page, and never give the PIN to a support agent.
