Boho Casino review: who gets the bonuses
Boho Casino scores 3.7 out of 10, and the clause that sets its tone sits near the bottom of its bonus terms. "Bonus offers are not available to players whose withdrawal-to-deposit ratio exceeds 70%." Nor to "players with a significant balance (e.g. due to a big win)", nor to anyone whose "total income generated for the casino is negative". Put plainly: once you are winning, the promotions stop.
That matters because Boho sells itself on promotions: a $9,750 welcome package, daily cashback up to 13% and tournaments with prize pools in the millions. On 9 October 2026 bohocasino.com forwarded our Australian connection to a numbered Boho mirror absent from ACMA's 8 October snapshot (we do not name it). We read its terms (12 June 2025), bonus terms (24 June 2025), responsible gaming page (19 March 2026), FAQ and contact page there, without signing up.
Is Boho Casino legal in Australia?
No. Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 nobody may offer online casino games to people in Australia; the offence is the operator's, not yours. ACMA's list of blocked gambling websites held bohocasino.com, bohocasino1.com, bohocasino2.com and bohocasino4.com on 8 October 2026. The mirror we reached carried a number that list skips.
Boho's restricted-country list is one of the longest we have read, about 200 countries and territories, down to Christmas Island, the Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Norfolk Island. Australia itself is not on it. The terms do block Australians from NetEnt games and Amatic, and they warn that using a VPN to get around a restriction may cost you your winnings. Who owns Boho Casino?
Clause 1.1 names Metlait SRL, a Costa Rican company with registration number 3-102-911867 and an address in El Guarco, Cartago, operating under licence no. 0000064 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. Metlait S.R.L is on the commission's licence-holder list with a B2C licence that expires on 16 April 2027. The list names companies only, so it cannot show which websites the licence covers. Disputes end with an outside body, EGIS, and then arbitration in Costa Rica. That is a long way from any Australian regulator, which has no power over Boho beyond blocking it.
The $9,750 welcome package, stage by stage
Boho's Australian pages show the package in dollars, and the bonus terms set three stages:

A first deposit over $777 is switched to the high roller version automatically. Taking the high roller route, the full $9,750 needs $9,500 of deposits. Each stage carries 40x on the bonus plus whatever the free spins won, five days to finish, and a $7.50 bet limit.
In our calculation the high roller stage alone means $300,000 of bets in five days. At $7.50 a spin that is 40,000 spins, or 8,000 a day: about 333 every hour, around the clock. The whole package is at least $390,000 of turnover, and at a 96% return its expected cost is about $15,600, well above the $9,750 on offer.
A plainer case: a $100 first deposit earns a $100 bonus and 100 spins, then $4,000 of bets plus 40 times the spin winnings within five days. The expected cost at a 96% return is about $160, and the most the bonus can ever pay is $1,000, because conversion is capped at 10 times the bonus. Wagering weights cut further. Pokies count 100% except "classic pokies"; table games, classic pokies and video poker count 5%, live games 10% and instant games nothing. The bonus is cancelled once your active balance falls to $0.75.
Boho Casino no deposit bonus in Australia
The promotions list we read on 9 October 2026 had no no deposit offer, and Boho's pages print no code for one. If you are sent one, the general terms say winnings from no deposit free spins are capped at $75 and that you must make "at least one valid deposit" before taking them. The 10x rule is the one to watch if you prefer blackjack or live roulette: an A$200 deposit means A$2,000 of table bets before that money can leave. The verification clock is two weeks. The responsible gaming page offers deposit, loss and wager limits by day, week or month, cooling-off for one week to six months, and self-exclusion for six months, nine months, a year or indefinitely. Raising a limit waits for email confirmation and for the old limit to expire. The lobby sorts games into pokies, live casino, "Hot RTP", "Bonus Wagering", bonus buy and jackpots, with a jackpot total shown in euros. The FAQ says the software is certified by iTech Labs and that payouts for all games fall between 95 and 98%. We could not test either claim.
